Make it Easy to Change Hearts

On the anniversary of Roe Vs. Wade, President Bush told a pro-life rally in Washington that a "culture of life cannot be sustained solely by changing laws. We need, most of all, to change hearts."

Established government is a major influence on the hearts and minds of the people. Some people take their morality from what is legal. The government can teach compassion and life by what it protects and affirms. If it allows the wanton destruction of human life, including life of the unborn, then how can it change hearts toward a culture of life?

Anne Coulter in her article says that "it's time we changed a few judges."

I agree with Anne. The best way to sustain a culture of life is to change a few judges, so that Roe Vs. Wade can be repealed, and make it easier for people to change their hearts about abortion.
