Lamont and Wright "Theology" Applied to Abortion

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, an Assistant Professor of Urban Education and American Studies at Temple University, is a supporter of Barack Obama. He was interviewed last night, August 13, by Bill O'Reiley at the Fox News Channel. During the interview, Hill made the audacious assertion that Jesus would be O.K. with abortion. To make matters worse, Hill added that Jesus's position on abortion would be even "more radical" than Barack Obama's!

The supposedly learned excuse for such a brazen but mistaken assertion, is that it comes from a certain "theological understanding." Hill stated in the interview that, "There are different schools of theological understanding, many of which believe that the Bible is not something that should be read fundamentally..."

This "school of theological understanding" must be one with that of Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor who "introduced Obama to Christ" and who called down curses on America based on his "theology of liberation." Jeremiah Wright, Lamont Hill, and others of this school are supposedly the Doctors and Theologians who have a certain understanding of the Bible contrary to centuries of Christian tradition. They call themselves "progressive."

Wright and Lamont should write "The Politically Correct Bible."

"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds."

2 Cor. 11:13-15
