The battlefronts of the culture war are interrelated. The purging of God from the state government being waged by secular liberalism is resulting in the promotion of religious pluralism bringing increased hostility against the visible reminders of absolute morality, namely, sacred scriptures and the people whose lives are based on sacred scriptures. Thus, secular liberalism ignores the differences between Islam and Christianity, treating them both as morally equivalent, equating the fanaticism of the radical jihadists with the devotional commitment of "fundamentalist" Christians. They are quick to point out the one period in history, namely the Crusades, as the moral equivalent of today's terrorism. The excesses committed during the Crusades were at variance with the teachings of Jesus Christ, while the terrorism exercised by the jihadists is in perfect harmony with the Koran, but this is ignored by the secular liberals. To them, the enemy is absolute truth and morality based on absolute truth, and all faiths must be equal. The truth is, not all faiths are equal. One must be true and the other false.
