"Consenting Adults" - the great tower of individual freedom sanctioned by the State. In this great tower, you are shielded from judgment by society. The media will not touch you. Society cannot condemn you. Never mind if a whole nation is scandalized by your licentiousness. "Consenting Adults" will shield you. Never mind if your vows are broken and rendered meaningless, or if the children are torn apart at the wreck of your marriage. "Consenting Adults" will rescue you. But your conscience is your own business. The State can do nothing for you there. You may have to silence it, even kill it and run to "Consenting Adults."
